吗啡是阿片(鸦片)中提炼出来的药物, 在现有的止痛药中作用最佳应用后头痛或其它部位的疼痛迅速消失, 疼痛引起的不安、烦躁、呼吸急促、心慌等也随之消失。常用于其它止痛药都不起作用的顽固性头痛。但是应注意不可长期使用, 即使是小量应用1～ 2周均可能上瘾, 如停药会出现戒断症状, 如烦躁不安, 失眠, 肌肉震颤, 呕吐, 腹痛, 瞳孔散大, 流泪, 流涕, 大量出汗等。
